Rosewood Sanya, the first China resort for the ultra-luxury Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® brand, recently appointed new executive committee members including Ben Chen, hotel manager; Bruno Vengadabady, director of food and beverage; and Owen Sui, director of sales and marketing. 

Ben Chen is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the hotel. He brings to his role 20 years’ hospitality experience among hotels, luxury residences, resorts, villas and hotel serviced condos in the U.S.A., Taiwan and mainland China, including luxury hotel brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Mandarin Oriental and Langham. Before joining Rosewood Sanya, Ben Chen was hotel manager of Langham Shenzhen.

Born and raised in France, Bruno Vengadabady previously held positions at Hilton and Aman hotel groups, as well as food and beverage management roles in the Hyatt Group. With his new role at Rosewood Sanya, Bruno will be responsible for the overall food and beverage operations and services of restaurants and bars.

Owen Sui has accumulated solid sales and marketing experience with international hotel brands including Sheraton, Westin, Luxury Collection, Raffles and InterContinental. He began his career more than 10 years ago in Sanya. Prior to joining Rosewood Sanya, Owen was director of sales and marketing for The Westin Blue Bay Resort & Spa of Sanya.
