TAXES
Room Rates are subject to a 10.25% transient accommodations tax, a 4.712% general excise tax and a 3% County tax. All other types of sale are subject to a 4.712% general excise tax.
DEPOSIT AND CANCELLATIONS
The resort’s standard cancellation policy requires that any cancellation or amendment to a reservation is received 21 days prior to the arrival date in order to avoid a penalty charge equivalent to the rate and taxes for two nights. All 4-bedroom accommodations require any cancellation or amendment be made 30 days prior to the arrival date in order to avoid a penalty charge equivalent to the rate and taxes for two nights.
For stays between December 23rd – Dec 31st: A full deposit for the complete stay, with no refund, is required.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in is from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and check-out is at 12 noon on the day of departure. For arrivals prior to check-in time, pre-registration conditions may be requested in order to guarantee the room is available upon arrival. Changing facilities are available for early arrivals and late departures.
TRANSFERS
Kona Village offers a private transfer which can be requested with our concierge. An extra fee applies.
ADDITIONAL PERSON POLICY
Kona Village is a child-friendly resort and offers a range of services for children of all ages. Children 12 years and under may stay in their parent’s room in existing bedding at no additional cost, USD200 charge applies for any third person 13 years old and above staying in the room. Based on maximum occupancy per accommodation.
PET POLICY
Pets are allowed up to 22 lb. Pets on a leash are welcome throughout the property, except at the restaurant, spa, fitness center, beach and pool areas. Certified service animals are exempt.
SMOKING POLICY
Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort has implemented a smoke-free policy as a commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for guests and associates alike. Our smoke-free policy applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes (including electronic and e-cigarettes), and vape pens or e-cigars.
DRONES POLICY
The use of unmanned aerial systems is strictly prohibited on or above resort property.
