Rosewood London Brings a Mediterranean Piazza to the City This Summer

June, 2026

This summer, Rosewood London unveils a new terrace in collaboration with Dinner for One Hundred, London’s community-focused pizzeria. Set within the hotel’s iconic courtyard, the space is transformed into an elegant, European-inspired destination for the season. Designed as a hidden piazza in the heart of the city, the terrace brings together contemporary design, Mediterranean-inspired dining and a refined cocktail menu featuring GREY GOOSE vodka, PATRÓN tequila and ST-GERMAIN elderflower liqueur, creating an immersive alfresco experience throughout the summer months.

Capturing the ease of European outdoor living, the terrace welcomes guests from relaxed, sunlit lunches through to aperitivo hour and into the evening. Shaped by food, drink and conversation, it offers a distinctive setting for all-day dining and socialising in the heart of the capital.

A EUROPEAN PIAZZA IN THE HEART OF LONDON

The courtyard is reimagined as a timeless European setting, where refined latticework and natural linen textures create an atmosphere that is both elegant and relaxed. Subtle classical details lend structure and balance to the space, while the overall feel remains inviting and transportive. A place to gather, linger and enjoy the sunshine through the summer months.

A Gozney Dome oven and an outdoor bar anchor the dining experience, creating natural focal points that carry guests seamlessly from long, leisurely lunches and golden-hour aperitivo into warm evenings.

DINING & DESIGN

At the heart of the terrace is Dinner for One Hundred, the London pizzeria founded by Jake Bucknall and Jacob Stuttard. What began as an ambitious dinner turned pizzeria in a South London front garden, has now grown into one of the city’s most-loved pizza concepts, known for its community-driven spirit.

For The Terrace at Rosewood London, the founders bring their celebrated pizzas to the courtyard, using a Gozney Dome oven - a full-circle moment for the duo, whose journey began with a small Gozney oven in Jacob's mum's front garden. Now partnering with Gozney's latest innovation, they serve their signature pizzas, including the MacGyver Pizza with truffle dip, alongside their iconic pizza sandwiches. These are also available to takeaway from the hotel's Pie Hole, located just off Holborn Dining Room.

The menu is complemented by Mediterranean-inspired dishes from Holborn Dining Room Head Chef Ilona Perczyk and Executive Chef Andrea Coro, including Burrata with Grilled Peach, Carabineros, Lobster Linguine and Fig Leaf Pannacotta.

“Alongside the pizza offering, we wanted to create a menu that feels rooted in the simplicity and generosity of Mediterranean cooking. For the terrace, we’ve focused on seasonal ingredients and bold, honest flavours that suit laid-back, alfresco dining - food designed to be shared, enjoyed, and savoured throughout long summer days and evenings in the courtyard.”

The drinks menu centres on summer-ready cocktails inspired by aperitivo culture. Signature serves include the Bone Dry Martini (GREY GOOSE Vodka, Burnt Citrus Oils, Manzanilla En Rama Sherry, Gazpacho Mousse), Sumac & Strawberry Fizz (PATRÓN Silver, Strawberry, Sumac, Fig Leaf, Citrus, Whites) and ST-GERMAIN Spritz (ST-GERMAIN Elderflower liqueur, Champagne, Mint Leaves, LE Soda), alongside elegant mixed drinks designed for warm evenings and lingering moments.

The terrace at Rosewood London opens 1 June 2026 and runs through late September 2026 at Rosewood London, 252 High Holborn, London WCIV 7EN, from 12:00pm-10:00pm, Monday to Sunday.
