Featuring colors, textiles and patterns utilized by the area's indigenous hill tribes that still inhabit the surrounding wild mountains, these extraordinary accommodations offer an oversized daybed, as well as a refreshing rain shower, the classic-style bathtubs inviting you to luxuriate longer—as does the oversized balcony with its comfortable sofa.

Hilltop Tent Accomodation Policy

• The Hilltop Tents are located an eight-minute stairway walk from Reception, with approximately 140 stairs on the path
• Alternative accommodations are recommended for physically-impaired guests or with health conditions
• For safety reasons, children under 12 years old are not permitted to stay in Hilltop Tents

General Policy

• Rates are in US dollars per room per night and subject to change and based on availability
• Rates are subject to 10% tax and 10% service charge
• Check-in: 3 p.m.
• Check-out: 12 noon
• Visa on arrival - a two inches photo is required to apply for visa on arrival upon entering Luang Prabang

Extra Person & Child Policy

• Children 12 years and under:
  • Stay free of charge when sharing existing bedding with parents.
  • Complimentary breakfast is included.        
• Extra Person Fee (Guests 13 years and older):
  This is applicable for the following room types: Riverside Villas, Riverside Villa Twin, Riverside Suites, Waterfall Pool Villas, Waterfall Pool Villa Twin
  • A nightly charge of US$250 excluding 10% tax and 10% service per person applies.
  • This fee includes breakfast and an extra bed.
• Additional Child Provisions:
  • Ages 0-2 years: A crib/baby cot is complimentary (subject to availability).
  • Ages 3-5 years: Children may share existing bedding with parents at no extra charge. An extra bed, if required, is complimentary (subject to availability).
  •  Ages 6-12 years: An extra bed, if required, is complimentary (subject to availability).

Cancellation Policy / No Show

• No-Show Fee is 100% of the full stay and early check-out fee is 100% (for non-emergency early departures)
• Early check-out fee is 100% (for non-emergency early departures)

Festive Season Policy and Conditions

• Minimum of three nights stay are required between 23 December - 1 January
• Reservations over this period must be cancelled by 6 p.m. hotel/local time and 60 days prior to arrival to avoid a penalty of 100% of full stay plus tax

Family Policy

• Children under 12 years of age stay free. Complimentary breakfast is included for children age of 12 years and under
• Rollaway - Up to one roll away at no additional charge can be placed in a King bedded room for a child 12 years of age and younger. Cribs is complimentary
• Children’s and toddler’s menu is available in all hotel outlets

Pet Policy

• Rosewood Luang Prabang welcomes pets weighing up to 7 kg/15 lb. Only one pet is allow without any additional fee
• Pets are not allowed in restaurants, bars, pools, wellness and Spa, beaches or surrounding areas due to Luang Prabang Sanitary Standards
• Pet name and breed is mandatory at the time of reservations
• In order to respect the privacy of other guests, dogs are not allowed on the pool and restaurant and must be always in a carrier or leash while surrounding the property. It is the dog owner responsibility to obtain the required import documentation and transport cradles
• In case guest has more than one pet, special request can only be authorized by the Managing Director at time of reservations
