Hotel Policy

 

Rates

  • Rates are in U.S. dollars per room per night, subject to change, and based on availability.
  • Rates are subject to 10% applicable tax and 10% service charge.
  • Rates are inclusive of daily breakfast at the restaurant (based on single or double occupancy per bedroom).
  • A minimum length of stay may apply.
     

Arrival and Departure

  • Guests may check in after 3:00 pm.
  • Check-out is at noon.
  • Guests must be at least 18 years old to check in. 
     

Travel Documents

  • A valid passport is required for travel to Luang Prabang, Laos PDR.
  • Visa Application: For the most up-to-date list of visa-exempt nationalities and visa details, please visit the Department of Immigration of Lao PDR website.
     

Transfers

  • Round-trip transfers are available and may be subject to additional charges. Kindly contact us at least three (3) days prior to arrival with your flight/train information at luangprabang.reservations@rosewoodhotels.com.
     

Child and Extra Person Policy

  • For children aged 0 to 3 years, a crib/baby cot is complimentary (subject to availability).
  • Children aged 12 years and under:
    • Stay free of charge when sharing a room with their parents.
    • An extra bed or sofa bed, if required, is complimentary (subject to availability).
    • Complimentary breakfast is included.
  • Extra person fee for guests aged 13 years and above:
    • A nightly charge of USD 150 per person applies. The rate is subject to 10% applicable tax and 10% service charge.
    • This fee includes breakfast and an extra bed.
  • Extra beds are only permitted in the following room types: Riverside Villas and Riverside Suites.
  • A children's and toddler's menu is available at The Great House.
     

Guarantee

  • A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation at the time the reservation is made, unless otherwise indicated.
  • We accept American Express, JCB International, Mastercard, Visa, and UnionPay.
     

Cancellation and No Show Policy

  • Cancellation Policy: Please refer to the cancellation policy outlined for each offer and its related terms and conditions at the time of reservation.
  • No-Show Fee: 100% of the full stay.
  • Early Check-Out Fee: 100% of the remaining stay (for non-emergency early departures.)
     

Group Policy

Pet Policy

  • Rosewood Luang Prabang welcomes one pet weighing up to 7 kg (15 lb) per villa. A nightly pet supplement charge of USD 35 per pet applies. The rate is subject to 10% applicable tax and 10% service charge.
  • Pets are only permitted in our designated Riverside Villas, which offer convenient outdoor access and a comfortable environment for both you and your pet.
  • Pets are not permitted in our restaurant, bar, swimming pool, wellness facilities, or spa areas.
     

Smoking Policy

  • Rosewood Luang Prabang promotes a non-smoking environment. Smoking is permitted in designated areas only.
  • All accommodations at Rosewood Luang Prabang are non-smoking.
  • Should smoking be detected inside a guest room, villa, or any indoor accommodation space, a USD 500 cleaning and recovery fee will apply.
     

Durian Policy

  • To ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all guests, durian is not permitted anywhere within the resort, including guest rooms, villas, public areas, and resort vehicles.
  • Should durian be brought into or consumed in any accommodation, a USD 500 cleaning and recovery fee will be charged.
     

Photoshoot, Filming and Drone Policy

  • To protect our guests' privacy, comfort, and overall experience, casual photography for personal use is permitted. We kindly ask that all photography activities remain respectful and do not disrupt hotel operations, obstruct public areas, or compromise the privacy of other guests or associates.
  • Commercial photography and videography anywhere on the hotel premises are strictly prohibited without prior written approval from hotel management.
  • The hotel reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or discontinue any photography or filming activity deemed inappropriate, disruptive, or inconsistent with the comfort, privacy, safety, and enjoyment of our guests and associates.
  • The use of unapproved drones/unmanned aerial systems on or above resort property is strictly prohibited. Please contact the resort to obtain permission before flying within the resort.
  • Your drone/unmanned aerial system must comply with Laos requirements. Guests are responsible for obtaining the necessary permits.
