As Rosewood embarks on a new chapter and reveals a new look, celebrated through a signature green, it felt fitting to capture the essence that represents this endless world of discovery and bottle it up quite literally in a keepsake for purchase, to help guests continue the journey they began in our properties.

To create this fragrance, Rosewood chose renowned fragrance and decorative home goods brand L’OBJET, founded by Elad Yifrach — a creative visionary who understands clearly the power of design and scent.

Finding inspiration from the multi-cultural universe of Rosewood, Yifrach traversed the seas from East to West, settling on an era where voyage and discovery flourished.

The result is Bois Cachemire, a fragrance born at the crossroads of the 14th century, height of the Silk Road, and the 21st century. Inspired by the ancient voyages across South East Asia, the Levant and the Mediterranean, Bois Cachemire evokes the feeling of untainted travels, when merchants safeguarded precious silks with dried patchouli, and whose velvety aroma has since become synonymous with expressions of the exotic, authenticity and sophistication.

Within the Bois Cachemire collection, we created three products, a candle made with the highest concentration of fragrance, produced responsibly avoiding the use of palm oils or paraffins. A room spray for instant hits of scents and a complementary pillow mist for evening refreshment right before your head hits your pillow at night.
