This September, Kona Village welcomes the team from Platform 18 by Century Grand in Phoenix, Arizona, for a special guest bartending pop-up at Shipwreck Bar & Sushi and Talk Story Bar. Guests will enjoy a limited-time cocktail menu showcasing the creativity, craftsmanship, and hospitality behind one of the country's most celebrated bar programs.

Known for blending exceptional ingredients, thoughtful storytelling, and meticulous technique, the team creates cocktails that are both inventive and unforgettable, bringing a sense of adventure and discovery to every glass.

Join the award-winning team from Platform 18 by Century Grand at Shipwreck Bar & Sushi as they take over the bar aboard our restored schooner, New Moon. For one evening only, Platform 18 will bring its signature Roaring Twenties-inspired cocktails from its acclaimed 1927 Pullman train car in Phoenix to Kona Village, reimagined for a vibrant oceanside setting. Guests may also enjoy selections from Shipwreck Bar & Sushi's signature menu.

The team from Platform 18 by Century Grand returns for a second evening, this time taking over Talk Story Bar. Set against the golden-hour, oceanfront views of Kahuwai Bay, guests can enjoy Platform 18's interpretation of rum-forward cocktails featuring the distinctive flavors of Kuleana Rum Works, crafted from sugarcane grown, distilled, and blended on Hawaiʻi Island's Kohala Coast. Guests may also order from a selection of favorites from the Talk Story Bar menu.
