From Kona International Airport, our private cars whisk you away for the 10-minute drive to Kona Village, where you’ll settle into your Signature Suite accommodations.
Resort Tour
Your butler will guide you around the 81-acre property, familiarizing everyone in the group with the resort’s facilities and activities. 2

Enjoy cocktails, refreshments, and delicious pupus (appetizers) beside your oceanfront pool.
Day 2: Beach and Water Activities

Energize for the day with a locally inspired breakfast served by your butler in the privacy of your suite.
Morning: Kilo Kai Activities
Our Ocean Pursuits program is dedicated to the art of kilo (observing) kai (the ocean). Don a snorkel and mask and explore the vibrant marine life in the calm, crystal-clear waters of Kahuwai Bay. Hop on board a sailing canoe or outrigger canoe to experience the water the way the ancient Hawaiians did. Or try your hand at stand-up paddleboarding: Beginners and experienced paddlers alike can glide across the shimmering waters of the bay.
Afternoon: Family Beach Time
Build sandcastles and relax in the sand, enjoy a game of beach volleyball, or lounge poolside at Moana Family Pool or Shipwreck Adult Pool.
Evening: Flavors Of The Pacific Rim
Explore the culinary traditions of Hawai’i together at Moana, serving local, regional, and sustainably sourced ingredients from land and sea.
Day 3: Cultural Immersion
Breakfast At Moana
A hearty start of the day includes both familiar favorites and local specialties.
Morning: Hawaiian Cultural Immersion
Activities that everyone can enjoy — lei-making, hula dancing, ‘ukulele lessons — illuminate local traditions. Petroglyph tours offer a fascinating glimpse at the island’s history.
Lunch: Cowboy Cuisine
Enjoy an alfresco lunch at Kahuwai Cookhouse, celebrating Hawai’i’s cowboy culture with dishes cooked over a wood-fired grill.
Afternoon: Active Pursuits
Fish for tilapia and amberjack along the shores of our tranquil lagoon, or host a pickleball tournament for some friendly family competition.
Evening: Celebrate Under The Stars
Our Celestial Dining Experience has you searching the sky for constellations and planets while enjoying a memorable meal in a secluded location on the resort grounds. Afterward, gather the group for an outdoor movie, complete with a roaring fire and special treats.
Day 4: Adventure and Exploration
Morning: Helicopter Tour
A helicopter whisks you away on a thrilling ride over the island. Take in breathtaking aerial views of the volcanic landscape before landing at a secluded waterfall site for a picnic breakfast.
Afternoon: Rest and Relaxation
While the kids engage in shell-collecting, art, games, and sports with our Rosewood Keiki Explorers Club, adults can rejuvenate at Asaya, where the treatments are intrinsically tied to nature and designed to align mind, body, and spirit. Our steam room, sauna, and hot and cold plunge pools will melt away any tension that remains.
Evening: Sushi Dinner
Shipwreck Bar & Sushi — built from a restored schooner pulled from the bottom of Kahuwai Bay — provides a fanciful seaside locale for delicious fresh sushi, plus poolside favorites and cocktails, all with an ocean view.
Day 5: Relaxation and Wellness
Morning: Marin Exploration
After a hearty in-suite breakfast, embark on a boat excursion to watch dolphins frolicking in their natural habitat, or explore the scenic coastline together in tandem kayaks. The more adventurous may opt for a guided tour on a motorized SeaBob — a cross between a jet ski and an underwater scooter.
Afternoon: Poolside Leisure
Enjoy downtime together at your signature suite’s private pool. Your butler will take care of lunch, drinks, and anything else your family may need.
Evening: Dinner and Storytelling
After a private, chef-curated dinner in your signature suite, enjoy s’mores under the stars, while a storyteller shares lore from Hawaiian culture or an astronomer helps you explore the night sky.
Day 6: Departure
Morning: Farewell Breakfast
After enjoying a final meal together at your choice of the resort’s restaurants, our team will collect your bags and bring you to the airport for departure.
