Café Carlyle is pleased to welcome back acclaimed singer-songwriter Hamilton Leithauser for his eighth annual residency, running March 4–28, 2026. Known for his magnetic performances and evocative voice, Leithauser returns to the iconic Upper East Side cabaret for a full month of intimate shows that have become a staple of New York City’s live music calendar. Leithauser first emerged from the East Village nightclub scene in the early 2000s, earning international recognition for his bombastic voice and commanding live performances. He went on to tour extensively across the globe, appearing at festivals, theaters, nightclubs, and a wide range of unconventional venues. Nearly nine years ago, he made his Café Carlyle debut; an unexpected pairing that quickly proved electric as Leithauser and his band delivered their full, high-energy sound to sold-out audiences. Since that inaugural run, the residency has grown each year, expanding to include more nights, more music, and an ever-growing audience. Last year’s engagement featured special guest appearances from Jay Mascis, Sharon Van Etten, Michael Shannon, Ana Gasteyer, Kevin Morby, Britt Daniel, SNL’s James Austin Johnson, Alessandro Nivola, Martin Courtney, and others. In 2026, Leithauser returns once again to Café Carlyle for a residency spanning Wednesdays through Saturdays in March, continuing a now well-established annual tradition.
