Known for his genre-defying artistry and emotionally rich performances, Wainwright’s return promises an unforgettable evening in one of New York City’s most iconic settings. Praised by The New York Times for his “genuine originality,” Wainwright has released ten studio albums and collaborated with artists such as Elton John, Joni Mitchell, and Brandi Carlile. His recent GRAMMY®-nominated album Folkocracy followed the acclaimed Unfollow the Rules and Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall. In 2024, he premiered his first musical Opening Night on London’s West End and debuted his large-scale orchestral and choral work Dream Requiem in Paris with narration by Meryl Streep. The U.S. premiere of the Dream Requiem featured Jane Fonda as narrator at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.
