Robert Sykes has been teaching and performing for the past forty years in the DMV area. As an active pianist, he has performed in renowned locations like Blues Alley, The Kennedy Center, The Hirshhorn Museum, and more. He is a faculty member of the Jazz Department at Levine Music since 1994 and has coordinated various master classes with Kenny Werner and Sheila Jordan.

He brings with him Anita Thomas, a fabulous clarinet, saxophone, and double bass performer. Adept at various musical styles, she performs in jazz and classical ensembles, as well as rock, soul, and blues bands. She has notably toured three times as a member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra to countries worldwide, and has played at the Strathmore for Michael Feinstein.
