On August 28–29, Kona Village welcomes acclaimed bartenders Alex Jump and Stuart Jensen of The Peach Crease Club for a special pop-up at Shipwreck Bar & Sushi, followed by a music-inspired Island Roots dining experience.
The Peach Crease Club is the first joint venture from the Denver-based duo, located adjacent to the renowned Mission Ballroom in the city's RiNo Arts District. Rooted in a shared passion for hospitality, music, and exceptional drinks, the concept approaches cocktails through a culinary lens, drawing inspiration from global ingredients, memorable meals, and personal travel experiences. The result is a seasonal, ingredient-driven beverage program featuring complex cocktails, thoughtful low-ABV and non-alcoholic offerings, and a deep connection to music and culture—an ethos that makes The Peach Crease Club as much about the atmosphere as it is about what's in the glass.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28: THE PEACH CREASE CLUB AT SHIPWRECK BAR & SUSHI

Join Alex and Stuart at Shipwreck Bar & Sushi as they take the helm behind the bar of our restored schooner for a one-night cocktail experience inspired by global flavors and favorite dishes discovered throughout their travels. Together, they will showcase four original cocktail creations, including a non-alcoholic offering. Featured Peach Crease Club signatures include the Guayaba y Queso, crafted with Mexican gin, mezcal, and guava, as well as cocktails inspired by papaya salad and borscht, alongside the signature Hazelnut & Peaches cocktail. Guests can also enjoy selections from Shipwreck Bar & Sushi's signature menu throughout the evening.
This experience is open to both resort guests and the local community. Please note that Shipwreck Bar & Sushi does not accept reservations.

Exclusively for resort guests, Alex and Stuart will bring their signature cocktails and creative vision to Island Roots, Kona Village’s communal dining experience beneath the kiawe trees. Centered around the imu fire pit, guests will enjoy a family-style feast showcasing Island Roots’ signature dishes and the traditions of live-fire Hawaiian cooking.
Throughout the evening, the duo will present a selection of seasonal cocktails inspired by farm-fresh ingredients, featuring creations such as the Strawberry & Tomato Highball, Peas & Asparagus, and Fattoush, as well as a specialty cocktail paired with dessert. The experience will also feature a curated vinyl listening session by local DJ Jason Sear. Together, exceptional cocktails, soulful music, and farm-driven flavors create a memorable gathering that celebrates connection, culture, and community.
