Nicole Scherzinger Supports Festive Campaign To Raise Funds To Help Seriously Ill Children Rosewood London’s annual Christmas campaign in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity (GOSH Charity) returns to London from December 1st to the 12th. This year’s Rosewood Mini Wishes will feature Nicole Scherzinger who is supporting the campaign, which will help to raise vital funds to support seriously ill children from across the UK who are cared for at the world leading hospital.
“We are thrilled to be launching the third annual Mini Wishes campaign and be supporting GOSH Charity for the second year. Great Ormond Street Hospital is one of the world’s leaders in paediatric medicine and has been helping sick children for 160 years. The Christmas season is such a special time of year for our guests and associates and it is made all the more meaningful by raising money for GOSH Charity. We are proud to support our local community and there is not a more deserving cause than the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity,” says Michael Bonsor, Managing Director of Rosewood London.
To celebrate the opening of the festive season, the campaign will launch on November 21st during Rosewood London’s annual client Christmas party. Hosted in the iconic courtyard, guests will be met by Father Christmas himself in a winter wonderland complete with a giant Christmas tree, glittering decorations, and a special winter terrace. A sensational evening will unfold, with live entertainment, creative cocktails and gastronomic surprises, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
Outside of Rosewood London’s enchanted courtyard, the iconic High Holborn façade will be transformed into a theatrical digital Christmas display. From December 1st, the festive narrative will unfold through digital mapping across the façade of the Grade II-listed Edwardian heritage building to create a stunning illumination show. The festive show can be viewed from High Holborn in intervals between the hours of 5:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Following Father Christmas’s daily tours around London from December 1st to the 12th, he will return to Rosewood London each afternoon. From 4:30 to 6:00 p.m., he will make special visits to guests of the Mirror Room, visiting guests enjoying the festive afternoon tea, complete with art-inspired pastries masterfully designed by Executive Pastry Chef Mark Perkins.
In the heart of the courtyard, German gin brand and partner Monkey 47 will transform The Terrace into a luxurious Black Forest winter retreat offering hot and cold cocktails. Inside the cosy Monkey 47 Winter Lodge, guests will experience the home of British Wing Commander Montgomery "Monty" Collins and the inspiration that resulted in the creation of Monkey 47 Gin. Cuisine by Holborn Dining Room Executive Chef Calum Franklin will include seasonal British dishes with a twist, including his famed pie creations such as festive mince pies and his special Christmas pate en croute. Modern British heritage brand Belstaff has provided the functional and stylish uniforms in collaboration with Rosewood London.
To further its fundraising efforts, Rosewood London will be donating £1 from all bills with festive elements directly to GOSH Charity for the entire month of December. This includes £1 from every bill from the Monkey 47 Winter Lodge, £1 from every Festive Afternoon Tea in the Mirror Room, and £1 from Holborn Dining Room’s festive menus. Additionally, £1 from every hotel room bill during the campaign will go to the charity.
Rosewood Mini Wishes will once again culminate in a spectacular Gala Dinner and auction on the 13th of December. The Gala Dinner will feature seasonal dishes by Rosewood London Executive Chef Amandine Chaignot, along with live entertainment and a live and silent auction with prizes including luxe experiential travel packages to raise as much money as possible for this deserving cause.
The money raised through the Rosewood Mini Wishes campaign will support the most urgent needs of children cared for at GOSH, and their families too. It could fund Christmas parties organised by the charity, helping to lift children’s spirits and give them an opportunity to have fun with their siblings and other patients at this special time of year. Money raised could help keeping families together this Christmas by covering the cost of a night’s stay in charity funded accommodation so parents can stay close by while their child is in hospital.
