Situated on 4.63-acres, the hotel sits on a terraced hill at the corner of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Gillespie Street in Dallas, Texas. Located in the heart of vibrant Uptown Dallas, the hotel is nestled in a private oasis adjacent to the city’s most prestigious residential area, Highland Park.
Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is approximately 30 minutes by car; Dallas Love Field Airport is 10-15 minutes by car.
Originally built as the private estate of a cotton magnate, Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek® has a heritage steeped in Dallas culture. The original owners, inspired by worldly travels, embarked on a tour of Europe with their architect, curating antique pieces, authentic fixtures and luxurious materials. In 1925, the opulent manor was complete, including a cantilevered staircase and the first private elevator in Dallas. The Mansion’s architecture is influenced by 16th century Renaissance Italy. Ornate interior décor was inspired by grand estates in Spain, Italy, England, France and elsewhere in Europe. For the next 50 years, the palatial estate hosted countless society parties as the center of the Dallas social scene. Famous guests at the mansion included President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Tennessee Williams.
In 1979, Rosewood Property Company purchased the property and transformed it into a world-class restaurant and hotel. The Mansion Restaurant opened to extraordinary national acclaim in 1980 and has remained a culinary legend ever since. Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek®, the luxury hotel, was added to complement the original residence, with 143 guest rooms and suites designed with an inviting residential ambiance. Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek® opened with a grand gala benefiting the local arts community, an early indication of the hotel’s strong commitment to philanthropic endeavors. While preserving historical details, modern design elements have been introduced throughout the years. Meticulously restored interiors, hand-carved fireplaces, marble floors and stained-glass windows preserve the estate's original magnificence.

A dramatic floral arrangement greets visitors at the entrance to the 32-foot-high marble rotunda leading to an elegantly appointed lobby. Taking decorative inspiration from a sophisticated mansion, the beautiful lobby offers inviting sofas, detailed wall coverings, a grand fireplace and chic oversize chairs.
Guestrooms and suites reflect an enchanting residential atmosphere. The 128 rooms offer modern interior styling, elegant furnishings and local art, while 15 sumptuous suites offer ample space for entertaining. With 450 sq. ft. of living space, luxurious hotel rooms feature a sitting area, a large bathroom and French doors opening onto a step-out balcony, from which guests can enjoy views of the Turtle Creek area.
Ranging from 900–1,350 sq. ft., the hotel’s 15 magnificent suites offer a refined ambiance, beautiful furniture and sophisticated areas for entertaining. Suites provide thoughtful amenities including an oversize bathroom, a powder room perfect for guests, and French doors opening onto a private balcony.
Offering 900 sq. ft., the well-appointed suites feature a living room, powder room, a walk-in shower and soaking tub and a king-size canopy bed. A lovely balcony is framed by French doors.
Residential in style, the suites offer a generous 1,350 sq. ft. Master Suites include an entry foyer, powder room, a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room for six guests, hardwood floors and king-size bedroom. The three Master Suites can be combined with a connecting room to create an expansive two-bedroom option.
Offering 1,350 sq. ft. of luxurious interior space, Terrace Suites are positioned on the top floor of the hotel. Experience a private outdoor terrace perfect for lounging or entertaining, ranging from 1,175 to 1,300 sq. ft. Terrace Suites feature a living area, a dining room with seating for six, a fully equipped kitchen, a walk-in shower and soaking tub, a powder room and king-size bedroom.

Long-hailed as the most spectacular restaurant in Dallas, The Mansion Restaurant offers world-class cuisine and impeccable service. Offering contemporary American cuisine with subtle global influences, The Mansion Restaurant features beautiful ornate details and exquisite European décor. The Mansion Restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Culinary influences include a strong commitment to local ingredients of the finest quality. Wine selections are curated by an expert sommelier, exploring vintages from Texas and regions all over the globe. Weekend brunch offers exceptional cuisine, mimosas and Bloody Marys. A Main Dining room is accompanied by unique, intimate areas. The Library is adorned with hand-carved wood paneling and stained-glass windows. Bathed in natural light, The Veranda’s high arched ceilings and Palladian windows overlook the terrace and gardens. An icon on the Dallas scene, Mansion Bar offers an exclusive ambiance perfect for spontaneous cocktails or an evening of revelry. Cognac-colored leather walls pair with opulent furniture and original paintings of the Texas landscape. Mansion Bar features craft cocktails including the beloved famous Mansion Gin & Tonic, a dynamic re-imagination of a classic. Other signature cocktails include the Texas Margarita and the Mansion Martini. Enjoy live music on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. Musical performances from local artists range from sophisticated jazz and piano to rock.
For alfresco dining, cocktails and lounging, the restaurant terrace presents a breezy, lantern-lit setting under a canopy of majestic oak trees. The terrace includes two charming fireplaces perfect for cold weather. Enveloped by greenery, the terrace is ideal for dining, reading or enjoying cocktails under a starlit sky.

With 9,288 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting and event space accommodating up to 400 guests, the hotel presents 7 private spaces, ranging from intimate to grand. Suitable for an array of occasions, private spaces include the Pavilion Ballroom, Promenade, F.D.R. Suite, Hunt Suite, Burford Suite, Sheppard King Suite and Wine Cellar, all complemented by impeccable service.
