Mexican Cuisine
A FARM-TO-TABLE DINING EXPERIENCE
1826 Restaurant celebrates Mexico’s rich culinary heritage and tradition. The menu highlights authentic flavors and ingredients, paying homage to the diverse regional specialties of central Mexico. The restaurant has long embraced a farm-to-table philosophy, allowing our chefs to incorporate hyper-local, organic ingredients while supporting nearby growers and producers.
In addition to its cozy interior space with views of the open kitchen, the restaurant also offers seating in its open-air courtyard and expansive garden terrace.
1826 Restaurant is named in honor of a pivotal moment in time. In 1826, the town of San Miguel el Grande was renamed to commemorate its most famous local hero, Ignacio Allende y Unzaga, the mastermind of the Mexican independence movement. At 1826 Restaurant, we pay tribute to the city’s storied heritage as the home of Mexican independence.
