Schloss Restaurant – A Journey to The Heart of Salzkammergut
Ranging from Salzkammergut-inspired plates to locally caught fish from the region, Head Chef and Culinary Director, Julian Schwamberger curates each venue to offer a menu with a taste of the freshest seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farms and suppliers. At the heart of its dining experience lies the celebrated Schloss Restaurant, inviting guests to explore an authentic culinary journey through the regional flavors of Salzkammergut. Schloss Restaurant presents a selection of dishes ranging from hearty classics and modern inspired dishes like Styrian Alpine prawns with Blunzn Gyoza, sauerkraut beurre blanc and a saddle of Mattigtal lamb with grilled lettuce heart, celeriac & black truffle. The menu celebrates the region's diverse flavors with over 1,400 Austrian and international wines and rarities, collected over decades in Schloss Fuschl’s wine cellar. For a decadent dessert, the Ischler Delice is a classic Austrian cookie with almond praline, berger chocolate and violet sorbet.
Schloss Bar – Honoring the Past, Embracing the Modern
Schloss Bar, the resort's main bar is a central place to gather for classic and innovative cocktails. Inspired by the natural beauty of the Salzkammergut region, Schloss Bar features hand-painted walls depicting the fall season in the Austrian Alps by local painter, Marie Hartig, known for her whimsical designs, lively composition, and detailed brushwork. Carefully restored historic window ornaments and a 15-century low timberline fireplace honor the castle’s past while its modern approach towards luxury hospitality embraces the present and future. The intimate Whisky Room, an extension of the Schloss Bar, provides a space for smaller gatherings with a rich design and offers a wide selection of dark spirits, Schnaps, wines and exclusive bar snacks.
Seeterrasse – Global Cuisine Meets Lakeside Charm
Seeterrasse offers both indoor and outdoor dining with breathtaking views of the Austrian Alps and Lake Fuschl. It's the perfect setting for leisurely afternoon lunches or romantic sunset dinners. Inspired by the serene lakeside ambiance, this dining venue presents a diverse selection of dishes ranging from 'Alpine to the Sea'. The menu features creations influenced by the turquoise-blue waters and surrounding forests. Highlights include the Schloss Fuschl Bouillabaisse with Styrian Alpine Prawn and fish sourced directly from Lake Fuschl, along with traditional Austrian Schnitzel, signature Burgers, and Austrian Kaiserschmarrn made with rum raisin and apple purée. Guests can indulge in global cuisine while savoring locally sourced flavors at Seeterrasse.
Sisi Tee Salon – A Haven of Tranquility and Creativity
Serving as a nod to the property’s history in the iconic Sissi film trilogy, the Sisi Tee Salon is a haven of tranquility, inviting guests to unwind over coffee, a drink or light meal throughout the day. With in-house desserts such as cakes and pralines alongside afternoon tea service, Chef Jérémie Baessler invites visitors to experience this residential-styled lounge for warm hospitality. For morning or afternoon tea, guests can indulge a variety of organic and herbal blends such as an organic turmeric honeybush tea or an organic jasmine imperial drink with flavors of delectable fruits and edible flora. In addition to tea, the salon is used as a living and meeting room for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. For dessert, the restaurant will offer a rich selection of homemade pastries such as madeleine, cakes, eclairs, as well as the well-known Schloss Fuschl Torte, an original recipe created 32 years ago. It will be offered to appreciate the property’s culinary importance.
