Sporty & Rich, the lifestyle brand known for its chic designs and wellness-driven philosophy, is thrilled to announce a collaboration with The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, renowned as a cultural landmark and cornerstone of New York City's Upper East Side since 1930.
The exclusive collaboration will feature vintage-inspired apparel and accessories, drawing from The Carlyle’s storied history and the contemporary aesthetic that defines Sporty & Rich. The pieces beautifully capture the essence of both brands and their commitment to effortless style and quality.
Expect luxurious cashmere sets, alongside contemporary pieces like cropped hoodies, oversized shirts, varsity jackets, and caps, all designed to capture the classic New York aesthetic synonymous with the hotel’s storied heritage. The palette includes deep forest green, merlot, soft heather gray, and ivory, with select items featuring The Carlyle’s iconic Madison Avenue address for an added touch of exclusivity.
The limited-edition collection will be available online at sportyandrich.com, the brand's flagship location in New York City, The Carlyle Online Boutique, rosewood.com, and in person at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel, starting from November 7th, 2024. Prices range from $35 to $695, exclusive of tax and shipping.
The collaboration with The Carlyle follows the June 2024 release of Sporty & Rich’s capsule collection for Asaya, Rosewood’s integrative wellness and lifestyle concept. Consisting of 14 limited-edition pieces in a new colorway designed exclusively for Asaya, the collection was similarly born from the brands' shared values and commitment to inspiring self-discovery and holistic wellbeing.
About Sporty and Rich:
Founded by Emily Oberg in 2014, Sporty and Rich began as a mood board for life; a collection of images from past and present that represent a life surrounded by beauty. It soon expanded into a print magazine, covering design, iconic figures, creativity, and forgotten moments and places. Now, the brand offers a collection of simple, yet thoughtfully designed products that emphasize longevity over momentary relevance. For more information, please visit Sportyandrich.com.
About The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel:
Situated at the corner of Madison Avenue and 76th Street, The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel has been a classic landmark of Manhattan’s sophisticated Upper East Side since 1930. Located just one block from Central Park, The Carlyle is a 35-story, 192-room hotel highlighted by the original Art Deco design from the renowned Dorothy Draper. Following a multi-year thoughtful transformation of the legendary property by New York-based design firm tonychi studio, the property has recently debuted new guest rooms and suites in addition to a new signature restaurant, Dowling’s at The Carlyle. Embracing a passion for the arts, pianos grace many suites, and most tower rooms have views of Central Park. The Carlyle is also home to the renowned Café Carlyle and the beloved Bemelmans Bar and offers visitors a whimsical experience into an undefinable era of glamour.
