Enter the dragon den with the new seasonal menus at Dai Pai Dong

From streetstyle cooking to fiery delights – it’s all about Kowloon recipes at Abu Dhabi’s best venue for authentic Chinese dishes. Dai Pai Dong at Rosewood Abu Dhabi caters to all palates this October, with the launch of new culinary experiences for family and friends to enjoy. So, have your chopsticks at the ready.
Chef Dong Nie brings seafood specialties from the backstreets of Kowloon to Abu Dhabi. Inspired by the recipes of the northern Chinese district, this October-only menu features a wide selection of shellfish, such as Canadian lobster, mud crab, prawns, oyster, scallop and clams.
Those who prefer fish can enjoy the Cantonese-style preparations of seabass and red snapper, while the daring epicurean can opt for the spicy frog clay pot. Served from October 1 until 31, the ‘Seafood from the Backstreets of Kowloon’ menu is available for dinner from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at a la carte prices.
Starting from October 15, those looking for a a truly fun and unique dining experience can now enjoy the all-new Lok Lok night every Tuesday from 19:00 p.m. to 22:45 p.m.
Lok Lok is a dish consisting of various meats and vegetables that are served on a skewer and traditionally dipped into a thick satay sauce. Featuring a wide selection of chicken, fish and meatballs, the Lok Lok buffet at Dai Pai Dong allows guests to take control of their meal by barbecuing their preferred skewers and topping them with special house dipping sauces. The street food-inspired feast is served for AED 158 per person, and AED 238 with a free flow of hops.
And there’s more; the chefs will open the doors their duck and dessert cooking stations for those brunching here, making the Friday Hot Pot dinner experience even more interactive and exciting.
Starting from October 4, brunch-goers are welcome to step into the dragon’s den for an exclusive peek into the magic behind every dish prepared at the restaurant. A map of the venue’s layout, including the kitchen, bar and live cooking stations, will be provided to set them on a culinary adventure every Friday. It is also advised to keep an eye out for the beverage trolley that will also be winding its way through Dai Pai Dong’s alleys.
Served from 6:00 p.m to 11:30 p.m., this evening brunch features a variety of meats, seafood and vegetable in addition to handcrafted dim sum, fiery hotpot sauces, fragrant soups and classic noodle preparations. The Friday Hot Pot Night Brunch is priced at AED268 with unlimited refreshments and AED388, inclusive of a free flow of hops and grapes.
