Hot Composting
Food waste is hot-composted through a local partnership, helping nourish reforestation projects, kindergartens, schools, and community gardens — at no cost.
Native Plantings
Our grounds feature diverse native plantings — from regenerative borders to wild-growing landscapes where New Zealand flora can thrive freely.
Earthen Vessels
Our welcome drinks are served in handcrafted vessels made by a Southland potter, using locally dug clay — a celebration of sustainability, craft, and place.
