Each of these wines was crafted to reflect the vibrant character of the region and complement the destination’s culinary experience.
The initiative stems from a shared desire to honor the surroundings and the cultural richness of the Bajío, uniting the winemaking tradition of the Valle de Guadalupe with the living essence of San Miguel de Allende.
Developed by Monte Xanic’s team of winemakers, the wine collection emerged from a creative process that combined technique, sensitivity, and deep respect for the identity of the place. Each wine was conceived from a carefully selected range of varietals from the Valle de Guadalupe, aiming to capture in every bottle a vibrant, elegant, and harmonious expression. From defining the aromatic and flavor profile to the label design, every detail was carefully crafted to convey, through each glass, the artistic, cultural, and sensory essence of San Miguel de Allende. The result is a unique wine offering designed to awaken the senses and evoke the authenticity of the place.
A Fresh and Aromatic White Wine
An elegant blend of Chenin Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc that captures the essence of sunny days in San Miguel de Allende. On the nose, it reveals delicate aromas of peach, white flowers, and a subtle herbal touch. On the palate, it is smooth and balanced, with refreshing acidity that makes it the ideal companion for seafood, salads, or an outdoor afternoon.
An Elegant and Balanced Red Wine
This sophisticated blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon offers a deep profile with notes of ripe black fruits, soft spices, and a light hint of oak. Its medium body and silky texture make it accessible and versatile, perfect for cuts of meat, hearty pastas, or an intimate dinner in one of the hotel’s cozy corners.
A Fresh and Vibrant Rosé
This 100% Grenache rosé stands out for its bright color and fresh aromatic profile. On the nose, it offers notes of raspberry, citrus, and rose petals. On the palate, it is dry, vibrant, and balanced — ideal for relaxed moments outdoors: from a brunch with friends to a sunset at Luna Rooftop.
The wine series can be enjoyed at the hotel’s dining venues — Restaurante 1826, Luna Rooftop, 1826 Tequila Bar, Pirules Garden Kitchen, and Agua — as part of a curated experience pairing contemporary Mexican cuisine with wines made to reflect the spirit of the place. This collection experience is guided by Aidé Cruz, Rosewood San Miguel de Allende’s resident sommelier, who accompanies guests in discovering each wine, enriching their appreciation with knowledge and sensitivity.
