Visual artist Rosângela Dorazio begins her artist residency at White Box from August 9 to 21 with the project Suspended Nature. Known for her research into the relationship between art and organic elements, Dorazio will create monotypes using natural materials, exploring the ephemerality of the landscape and gesture as a form of language.
Throughout the residency, the public will be able to closely follow her creative process, as the gallery becomes a living space for experimentation. Artist residencies are immersive periods in which artists develop new work in dialogue with the space, fostering exchange and reflection.
