Café Carlyle is proud to welcome Grammy-winning artist Richard Marx for his debut engagement, After Hours: Confessions at Café Carlyle, running October 21 through 25, 2025.
This intimate residency will showcase selections from Marx’s upcoming project of the same name—a mix of standards and original compositions, captured live with a sweeping 24-piece orchestra. Audiences can expect soulful renditions of jazz classics from the Great American Songbook, conjuring the elegance of Sinatra and the Rat Pack era, interwoven with never-before-heard originals. The shows will also feature performances of Marx’s greatest hits, alongside powerful performances of his greatest hits and personal stories from his four-decade career.
With more than 45 million albums sold worldwide, one billion song streams, and 14 No. 1 singles to his name, Marx remains one of the most successful multi-hyphenate artists of his generation. He made history as the only male artist whose first seven singles reached the Top 5 on the Billboard charts and won the 2004 Grammy for Song of the Year for co-writing Luther Vandross’ “Dance with My Father.” His extensive songwriting credits include collaborations with Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Keith Urban, and NSYNC
Marx is a coach on the upcoming season of The Voice Australia, and also hosts the hit podcast series Stories To Tell.
Based in Los Angeles with his wife, Daisy Fuentes, Marx brings his unmistakable voice, emotional storytelling, and enduring star power to Café Carlyle for five unforgettable nights
