Café Carlyle is thrilled to welcome back Broadway powerhouse Sutton Foster for her highly anticipated residency from November 25 to December 6, 2025.
Following a string of sold-out performances and critically acclaimed roles, Foster’s return promises an intimate and unforgettable evening in one of New York City’s most iconic settings. Most recently seen as Princess Winnifred in the Broadway revival of Once Upon a Mattress and Mrs. Lovett in the Broadway revival of Sweeney Todd, Foster has solidified her place as one of the most celebrated performers of her generation. She earned her first Tony Award for originating the role of Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie, directed by Michael Mayer, and has since gone on to originate iconic roles, including Princess Fiona in Shrek the Musical and Inga in Young Frankenstein. On television, she delighted audiences for seven seasons as Liza on Darren Star’s beloved and critically acclaimed series “Younger.” With a career spanning stage, screen, music, and literature, Foster’s return to Café Carlyle invites audiences on a journey through a remarkable body of work defined by vocal brilliance, heartfelt storytelling, and enduring star power.
