A second life for our textiles

An initiative that brings together mindful textile practices, circularity and social inclusion.

Looking to the future also means rethinking how we use the resources around us. At Rosewood Villa Magna, we believe meaningful change can begin with small choices that transform the everyday and open the door to new possibilities.

Through collaborations that bring together creativity, sustainability and a commitment to our community, we seek to embrace a more thoughtful approach to hospitality, where what already exists can find a new purpose.

Together with Deleite Wear, we have launched an upcycling initiative that transforms our 300 thread count, 100% cotton bed linen into new pieces with purpose. This process extends the life of high quality materials, keeping them from becoming waste and contributing to a more circular approach.

These textiles have been transformed into unique pieces for our teams and guests. Among the hundreds of pieces created so far are uniforms for our linen team, aprons for our kitchen team and a collection of pyjamas, showing how elements that are already part of our everyday life can become something new, useful and meaningful.

“By giving our textiles a second life, we have saved 817,943 litres of water and avoided 645 kg of CO₂.”

Impact data calculated and provided by Deleite Wear in 2026.

An important part of this initiative is its social impact. The garments are made in social inclusion workshops in Spain, involving women facing vulnerable circumstances. In this way, giving our textiles a second life also means creating opportunities for training, employment and inclusion, connecting environmental responsibility with the wellbeing of our community.

Traceability is another important element of the project. Garments can feature an embroidered mark or code that reveals the resources saved through their reuse. It is a simple way to make the value of each piece visible and share our commitment to a more thoughtful approach to sustainability with both our teams and our guests.

A FUTURE WITH PURPOSE

Our collaboration with Deleite Wear reflects our belief that sustainability is not only about reducing our impact, but also about finding new possibilities in what we already have.

By transforming our textiles, we support circularity, create opportunities and give new meaning to elements that are part of everyday life at Rosewood Villa Magna.

Because when we give what already exists a second life, we also help shape a different future.
