Chef Daniel Boulud is internationally recognized as one of the world’s leading culinary figures, celebrated for his refined, seasonally driven cuisine rooted in French tradition. Raised near Lyon, France, Boulud trained in Europe before moving to the United States in 1982, where he went on to lead some of New York’s most iconic kitchens and open his flagship restaurant, Daniel, in 1993.


Today, his global restaurant group spans multiple cities worldwide and includes acclaimed concepts such as Café Boulud and Le Pavillon. A recipient of numerous James Beard Awards and international honors, Boulud’s influence extends beyond the kitchen through his cookbooks, philanthropic leadership, and mentorship of the next generation of chefs.
