Rosewood Baha Mar, the refined Bahamian luxury hotel on the powder-white sands of Nassau’s Cable Beach, will reopen this autumn, starting October 2020, in line with the wider Baha Mar destination. Out of an abundance of caution, and to allow for long-term stability, by prolonging its closing Rosewood Baha Mar looks to guarantee a safe haven for guests and associates when normal operations resume.

Placing health and safety as the utmost priority, Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has been guided by international health experts including the World Health Organization (WHO), to introduce Commitment to Care, a new global health and safety program in compliance with partners Ecolab and Diversey.

Heightened hygiene protocols to ensure the ongoing safety of both guests and associates will include non-contact temperature checks upon arrival, increased cleaning and disinfecting of common touch points such as lobby areas and elevators, and the regular cleaning of all air filters and air conditioning systems. Rosewood Baha Mar will also offer bespoke services including several contactless in-room dining options, housekeeping offerings tailored to guest’s needs and comfort, and care kits including disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer and face masks.

As always, the safety and wellbeing of Rosewood Baha Mar’s guests, associates, and our local community remain the utmost priority and the hotel will operate with these enhanced health and cleanliness protocols to ensure the wellbeing of guests from reservation confirmation until check-out.

Within the wider destination, Baha Mar has created Commitment to your Wellbeing - a robust COVID-19 safety and social distancing plan. Rosewood Baha Mar has always celebrated the essence of the Bahamas and the shared value of human connection. We look forward to welcoming guests back to Rosewood Baha Mar in the near future.
