The Elephant Bridge Bar pays homage to 14th-century Luang Prabang, the capital of Lan Xang, the legendary "Land of a Million Elephants." Our cocktail menu is a journey through this legacy, inspired by local myths and legends, dramatic landscapes, and the cultures of the Laotian hill tribes. Every drink tells a story, crafted with rare local spirits, wild-foraged herbs, and house-made infusions that honor the bountiful harvests of Laos.

The bar itself, with its rustic charm, echoes this untamed history. It’s easy to imagine a time when elephants roamed freely, finding respite in the natural stream that still whispers past the bar.

THANAKONE (NOY) THOR

Noy joined Rosewood Luang Prabang in 2018 and began his journey by complementing hands-on experience with self-taught expertise, fueling his passion for the art of mixology. Likening himself to a painter who uses both experience and knowledge to blend raw materials and herbs into cocktails, Noy sees curated cocktails as an art form where every beverage is a narrative and a creative expression tailored to the individual.
