Epicurean Encounters offer guests superb culinary adventures to explore the lush Bermuda Island and its waters that are home to distinctive and unique flavors.

BERMUDA GOURMET SAFARI

A progressive rum tasting and degustation is conducted in our very own coffee chine and Chef’s garden. This experience provides our guests with a unique educational experience coupled with elegant outdoor dining. The safari aspect consists of a guided walk into the lush coffee chine as the sun is setting, arriving at a tasting of a rum selection infused with local botanicals and spices and indigenous cuisine. After the tasting, guests are taken back up to the far end of the chine path and end with a five-course Chef’s degustation dinner in the herb garden overlooking the chine, utilizing a menu featuring local seafood and produce in an elegant outdoor setting, paired by the Sommelier’s selection of wine.

SUNSET TO STARGAZING

An exclusive dining experience with the entire stretch of the beach and evening sky as your dining room. Guests are led down to the water’s edge where a beach lounge area, with a mini fire place and sound of the waves awaits their arrival. The arrival is timed just before sunset allowing for two very distinct experiences — sunset cocktails and stargazing drinks after dinner. The tableside experience features a five-course set menu with wine pairing, giving focus to Provençal cuisine. Upon completion of the meal, guests can relax in the lounge area while enjoying a digestif, coffee or tea.
