The “dream team of design”, Paul Bangay and Thomas Hamel will return to host an inspiring Labour Day weekend at Rosewood Kauri Cliffs, for the first time in seven years.
Mix and mingle with Thomas and Paul, along with Belle Magazine Editor Tanya Buchanan over Craggy Range wines on Friday night as the weekend kicks off. Saturday’s programme includes illustrated talks by both Paul and Thomas and in conversation with Tanya Buchanan.
International designer Thomas Hamel will discuss his passion for “Classics Reinterpreted” – fresh and modern takes on enduring style. He’ll talk you through homes where his knowledge and translations of the past evolve into chic and relevant designs for today’s living.
Landscape designer, garden guru and prolific author of countless books, Paul Bangay, will discuss favourite projects and ideas for designing gardens of any size. Paul will showcase gardens of a range of scales - from country garden properties to chic city residences, to charming and clever rooftop terrace gardens for modern apartment living.
A special weekend highlight will be Saturday night's tasting menu from Rosewood Kauri Cliffs culinary team with wine matches from New Zealand’s iconic Craggy Range wines. Dinner will be hosted by one of the Peabody family owners, Mary Jeanne Peabody, who will share her family’s story and passion, and their own classic single vineyard and prestige collection wines.
