Art Afternoon Tea – Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea 2018

Voted as the Best Contemporary Afternoon Tea in the UK for the second year running, Executive Pastry Chef, Mark Perkins, has created a new colourful collection of pastries, inspired by the artistic movements of Cubism and Pop Art.

Cubism is an abstract artistic style pioneered by Pablo Picasso in the early 1900s. It is one of the aesthetics that later inspired iconic artists such as Andy Warhol in the 1950s, who initiated the hugely popular Pop Art movement. Experience a culinary journey through these renowned styles, sampling a selection of six expertly made pastries inspired by the artists that popularised them.

Served in the elegant Mirror Room, our pop art-inspired afternoon tea includes a selection of mouth-watering finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and loose leaf teas accompanied by the creative pastries. Prepare to discover the likes of Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso and Roy Lichtenstein, with an optional Dom Pérignon twist.
