Taxes
Room Rates are subject to a 16% sales tax, a 5% occupancy tax and 15% service charge.
Deposit and Cancellations
Reservations must be guaranteed with a two-night deposit on a credit card at the time of booking.
For stays between January 2 and April 20, 2025, Cancellations made within 21 days before arrival will be charged 2-night stay plus tax and service charge.
For stays between 21 April 2025 and 18 December 2025, cancellations made within 14 days before arrival will be charged 2-night stay plus tax and service charge.
For stays between 19 December 2025 and 1 January 2026, a two-night deposit is required at the time of booking. Full and final payment is required 90 days prior to arrival. Cancel 90 days prior to arrival to avoid 100% penalty plus tax and service charge.
Amendment, cancellation and no show will be subject to an entire stay room charge plus surcharges.
Amendments made to stay dates are subject to a rate adjustment at the time of making the change.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in is from 3 pm on the day of arrival and check-out is at noon on the day of departure.
For arrivals prior to check-in time, pre-registration conditions may be requested in order to guarantee the room. A fee may apply.
Changing facilities are available for early arrivals and late departures.
Transfers
One way arrival airport or departure transfer from Puerto Vallarta International Airport to hotel by luxury private transportation.
Additional Person Policy
Rosewood Mandarina is a child-friendly resort and offers a range of services for children of all ages. Children 12 years and under may stay in their parent’s room in existing bedding at no additional cost. A USD100 charge applies for any third person 13 years old and above staying in the room. Based on maximum occupancy per accommodation.
Pet Policy
Pets are allowed up to 22 lb. Pets on a leash are welcome throughout the property, except at the restaurant, spa, fitness center, beach and pool areas. Certified service animals are exempt.
Smoking Policy
Rosewood Mandarina has implemented a smoke-free policy as a commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for guests and associates alike. Our smoke-free policy applies to cigarettes, cigars, pipes (including electronic and e-cigarettes), and vape pens or e-cigars.
Drones Policy
The use of unmanned aerial systems is strictly prohibited on or above resort property.

Q: How do I set up my room key in Apple Wallet?
A: You can add your room key to Apple Wallet at any time before or during your stay via the email you will be sent prior to your stay with us. Your room key will be activated once you check in and your room is assigned.
Q: How do I use my room key in Apple Wallet?
A: To use your room key, simply hold your iPhone or Apple Watch near the door lock. With Express Mode, there’s no need to unlock your device or open an app.
Q: I am not able to add my room key to Apple Wallet. What do I do?
A: Contact Reception and they will assist or provide you with a physical room key.
Q: Do I need to unlock my iPhone to use my room key in Apple Wallet?
A: With Express Mode, you don’t need to wake or unlock your iPhone or Apple Watch to use your room key in Apple Wallet.
Q: What happens if my iPhone needs to be charged? Can I still use my room key in Apple Wallet if my iPhone has a dead battery?
A: If your iPhone needs a charge, your room key in Apple Wallet will still work. Power Reserve provides up to five hours of access after the device’s battery needs to be charged, so you can still get inside.
Q: Can I use room key in Apple Wallet without mobile/cellular signal?
A: Your room key in Apple Wallet can be used even if iPhone or Apple Watch does not have network connectivity, as the room key is stored on your device.
Q: What happens to my room key in Apple Wallet if I lose my iPhone or Apple Watch?
A: If your iPhone or Apple Watch is misplaced or lost, you should use Find My iPhone to suspend or deactivate your Rosewood Mandarina Key in Apple Wallet. Your room key in Apple Wallet will be reactivated once your device is recovered. You can reactivate a found device that was suspended via iCloud.com.
