Celebrated Cocktail Destination Continues Literary Tradition and Introduces Custom 3D Printed Cocktail Vessels
March 19, 2025
Montecito, CA (Mar. 19, 2025) – Nestled within the Forbes Triple Five-Star resort, Rosewood Miramar Beach, The Manor Bar continues its tradition of literary cocktails with the March 2025 debut of Chronicles of Cocktails, Volume IV: Literary Lands. Drawn from the pages of history’s most renowned tales, the new signature menu invites guests to take a journey with craft cocktails presented in extraordinary custom vessels by 3D Vault, marking the 3D design leaders’ U.S. debut, and offering guests a remarkable immersive adventure.
Inspired by The Manor Bar’s study-like setting, the latest installment of Chronicles of Cocktails is designed to evoke memories of a place long ago, sometimes to a fleeting moment of joy or reflection, or even to a realization of something new. Each flavor, layer, and note leads guests down the path of their choosing. Developed by The Manor Bar team with custom vessels by 3D Vault, the menu is a study in technique and texture, with depth from honeys and oils, more clarified cocktails and house made cordials. Leaning into unexpected pairings, The Truffula Forest balances bitter, fruity, effervescent and savory elements in a reimagined spritz, while Lilliput is a complex cocktail balancing the umami of miso and spice of ginger with sweet and creamy banana and tart lemon in a rum-based cocktail. Carefully considered spiritless cocktails round out the menu. Each cocktail tells a story, and in keeping with Rosewood Miramar Beach’s commitment to sustainability, The Manor Bar will donate $3 from each Seuss-inspired Truffula Forest cocktail to The National Forest Foundation, supporting its Southern California environmental initiatives and post-wildfire reforestation.
“When developing this menu, we let the cocktails lead the way, with the primary goal of creating unique and delicious drinks – exploring textures and spice pairings in new and playful ways and reflecting on travels and the literature rather than trends,” says the resort's Director of F&B James Verlinden. “We were thrilled to work with 3D Vault and create something entirely unique for our guests, a whimsical escape within an escape.”
Menu highlights include:
● Truffula Forest - Patrón Blanco Tequila, Campari, Mango, Ras el Hanout, Sparkling Wine
● Center of the Earth - Lost Explorer Mezcal, Dolin Blanc, Vermouth, Watermelon, Pistachio, Lime
● Hundred Acre Wood - Don Julio 1942, Cocchi, Vermouth di Torino, Cynar, Carrot, Habanero
● Night Circus - Remy Martin 1738 Cognac, Wild Turkey Bourbon, Herbal Liqueur, Rhubarb, Vanilla
● Lilliput - Appleton Estate Rum, Remy Martin V.S.O.P Cognac, Miso, Ginger, Banana, Lemon
To enhance the dream-like experience, The Manor Bar team collaborated with 3D Vault, a leader in design and immersive experiences for the world of mixology, to develop bespoke vessels for each cocktail, marking the brand’s U.S. launch. Using sustainable materials including glass, PLA, and ceramics, The Manor Bar and 3D Vault teams created imaginative glassware to suit the theme, with unique vessels including a retractable globe for sipping Center of the Earth, wherein the vibrant watermelon hue represents magma; a nostalgic honeypot for Hundred Acre Wood; and an optical illusion for Night Circus, with a looking glass reflecting figments of imagination. In addition to the vessels, The Manor Bar and 3D Vault teamed up to design an interactive 3D menu. A 12-inch replica of The Manor Bar, complete with the original Fernando Botero work above the fireplace, guests can pull volumes from shelves detailing the offering and inspiration for each cocktail.
“We have collaborated with some of the world’s best bars – Giacomo Giannotti from Paradiso, Salvatore Calabrese and Fredrico Pavan from Donavan, Ago Perrone and Giorgio Bargiani from The Connaught and many others, even in Asia. However, as a young startup we have yet to fully explore the American market,” says Dario Bellantuono, cofounder of 3D Vault. “We solidified our presence in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and now this collaboration with Rosewood Miramar Beach marks a key moment for our future in the United States.”
Located at the heart of Rosewood Miramar Beach, the award-winning coastal resort, The Manor Bar has been named one of Wine Enthusiast’s “Best Hotel Bars in America,” and was a 2024 Spirited Awards Regional Top 10 Honoree for “Best U.S. Hotel Bar.” In the past few years, the bar has hosted talent from around North America, with award-winning guest bartenders including Chris Hannah of Jewel of the South, Mike Capoferri of Thunderbolt, and Alex Jump, award-winning bartender and co-founder of Focus on Health.
