The hotel is located in the heart of Paris on Place de la Concorde, one of the world’s most famous public squares and one of Paris’ most sought-after addresses.

1754: King Louis XV called upon Ange-Jacques Gabriel, the greatest architect of his day, to design the public square now known as Place de la Concorde. Gabriel also carried out the monarch’s commission for two “palaces” on the Place, creating a pair of identical, perfectly proportioned stone structures set on either side of the Rue Royale.

1770s: A private dwelling was built for the Duke d’Aumont, a noted connoisseur and collector.  

1788: The Duke de Crillon acquired the residence, which was was confiscated during the Revolution, but ultimately returned to the Crillon family, who retained ownership until 1907. 

1909: The historic mansion was transformed into a luxury hotel for elegant travelers.

2013: Rosewood Hotels & Resorts® was retained as manager of Hôtel de Crillon in 2013, at the beginning of its transformation.

Three restaurants and one bar comprise the new Paris destination for fine dining and drinking.
• L’Ecrin gastronomic restaurant; 28 seats.
• Brasserie d’Aumont, a warm and convivial brasserie situated at the heart of the hotel; 62 seats inside, 86 outside split between the two courtyards.
• Jardin d’Hiver, tea time and pastries; 33 seats inside, 13 seats in the gallery.
• Les Ambassadeurs, the bar to see and be seen in Paris; 60 seats.

Historic Salons:
Salon Marie-Antoinette, Salon des Batailles and Salon des Aigles are classified heritage landmarks. They feature ceilings dating back to 1775-1776, soaring to 6.2 meters high. The spaces can be connected to accommodate events and meetings of varied sizes.
