A FARMERS MARKET TOUR

at the San Francisco Ferry Building

Guests will be picked up in a luxury car from the property to the vibrant farmers market at the San Francisco Ferry Building. Upon arrival, guests will meet with Chef Reylon Agustin who will tour and introduce them to his local vendors and farmers. Chef Reylon will describe the variety of local produce that we use in our own menus at Madera.

After an hour of mingling with the Bay Area’s finest farmers, guests can either eat lunch with Chef Reylon or dine by themselves in the many restaurants that the market has to offer. After a leisurely lunch the luxury car transports guests back to the hotel.

This experience can be enjoyed by a minimum of 2 to a maximum of 6 guests at a time.

HARLEY FARMS PICNIC LUNCH

At Harley Farms, guests will not only get to taste award winning chevre, fromageblanc, ricotta, and feta cheese, but also enjoy a lesson on the process of making these cheeses from experts. Harley Farms is a restored 1910 dairy farm, with 200 alpine goats on a nine-acre pasture in Pescadero, Ca - just a 45-minute drive from our property. 

After enjoying a few hours on the farm, guests will experience a picnic assembled by our chef in Harley Farms’ beautiful surroundings. The meal will incorporate the fresh cheeses in various ways served alongside artisanal breads, meats and finest wine. Guests receive a special cheeseboard as a memento of their experience.

This experience can be enjoyed by a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 6 guests at a time.
