HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES
Covid-19 tests in Italy can only be prescribed by medical authorities. The vaccination process in Italy is managed by the Government and the vaccination plan is organized by age groups, starting from elderly citizens ages and high-risk categories. Getting vaccinated against covid-19 in Italy is optional.
As per the Italian Government’s latest directions, social distancing and personal protective devices are required as follows in all interactions with resort staff and other guests in order to protect each other: maintain one meter of distance and the use of face masks both when indoor and outdoor.
Upon arrival, there will be a screening procedure which will include a temperature check.
If upon arrival, a guest is showing a high temperature or any other symptoms related to Covid-19, they will be asked to travel later and will be cared for in a separate designated room until local authorities give clearance. Additionally, guests will be required to cover all costs of any extra nights required for quarantine procedures. Guests can request to be tested during the stay or upon departure; this service is subject to a surcharge and need to be reserved at the time of booking.
All our associates are temperature screened before entering the resort. If an employee is displaying any symptoms relating to the virus, they will be sent home and the COVID-19 safety procedure will be activated.
All our associates have been required not to come to work if they are feeling unwell or had contact with anyone who is suspected or confirmed as having Covid-19.
All associates are required to wear face masks both indoor and outdoor, maintain social distancing, sanitize all touch points after usage and respect strict rules in order to use the staff canteen.
All our associates receive continuous training on hygiene and cleanliness standards specific to their functional area.
RESORT OPERATIONAL UPDATES
The health and safety of our guests and associates is our utmost priority.
In following the World Health Organization, along with the Italian health authority (Istituto Superiore di Sanità) and Rosewood Commitment to Care, we have put in place new cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure we meet our guest needs while doing our part to keep you, our associates, and our communities safe.
Resort staff access Suites and Villas wearing a face mask and single use gloves.
Suite cleaning can only take place when guests are not in room. Villa cleaning can only take place if guests are in another room.
During day service Housekeeping will open all windows to facilitate air circulation and will avoid as much as possible to touch guests personal items. Housekeeping staff will use single-use gloves that will be removed to make the bed.
Housekeeping staff will use two kinds of sanitizing detergent for different purposes.
Upon departure, a vaporizer machine with sanitizer is used in all suite/villa areas. A 20-minute air circulation is conducted at the end of this process.
Please note that guests can choose not to have housekeeping service throughout the entire stay.
- COMMON AREAS
Housekeeping staff will constantly sanitize all touch points in common areas.
Guest Relations staff will constantly sanitize all touch points within the Reception, including computers, tablets and pens.
General information and menus at restaurants are available in digital format, in-room TVs or alternatively in single-use printed material.
Guests can choose to have their luggage sanitized upon arrival.
