This exhibition celebrates a homecoming and offers a deeply personal exploration of his heritage through photography.
"My work seeks to express the constant and moving dance of people in these places, which embody paradoxical forces: agitation holds a deep calm, the ordinary becomes extraordinary, order conceals chaos. My aim is to bring these scenes to life again, anchoring time and playing with it, narrating life and lives to provide future generations with a fragment of this era.”
√Roma (Subconscious Square Roots) by Romain Garzonio (April 20 - June 20, 2025)
French artist with Italian origins, Romain Garzonio, known as ROMA, will present his debut exhibition √Roma. Since moving to Cambodia, Roma has not only developed his artistic practice using plaster but has also dedicated himself to teaching his techniques to Cambodian artisans. In Cambodia, Roma rediscovers materials through colors and forms, sculpting, painting, and designing in his studio on Street 246. He even creates ceilings for architectural projects in Phnom Penh. This exhibition reflects his passion for merging art and craftsmanship.

Known for using salvaged motorcycle parts in his sculptures, Daro explores the relationship between past and present through his art. Thin Dina, a painter from Kampong Cham province, portrays the contrasts between rural and urban life—a theme inspired by his own journey from the countryside to Phnom Penh.

"Art holds a unique power to reflect and celebrate a country’s heritage, its creativity, and its evolving cultural landscape. In a nation as rich in history and tradition as Cambodia, supporting the arts is not only a tribute to the past but an investment in the future.
