This spring, acclaimed jazz guitarist and Grammy Award–winning producer John Pizzarelli returns to the legendary stage of Café Carlyle for a swinging, five night engagement, May 5-9, with a dazzling tribute to an American icon.
Pizzarelli and his trio salute the incomparable Duke Ellington with an evening of timeless classics and irresistible swing. Featuring beloved selections including “Satin Doll,” “Mood Indigo,” “In a Mellow Tone,” and “C Jam Blues,” the show highlights Ellington’s enduring genius through the trio’s sparkling interplay, bluesy warmth, and refined sophistication.
With more than 30 albums to his credit, Pizzarelli remains a towering figure in jazz, celebrated for his masterful guitar work, relaxed vocal charm, and deep connection to the Great American Songbook.
