Dr. Tal Friedman, N.D. is Asaya’s Resident Practitioner for all things Physiological. Using Naturopathy and Kinesiology as his area of expertise, he can guide guests to live a healthy, fulfilling life by balancing the body’s internal processes though natural remedies.
Kinesiology is the study of human movement and the relationship between physical activity and health with many sub-fields including physiology, anatomy, health psychology, and athletic therapy. Naturopathic medicine aims to uncover the root causes of disease or illness and encourages healing using a number of therapies including diet & lifestyle changes as well as supplements counselling and more.
Dr. Tal is a wellness educator who has worked in some of the world’s most distinctive wellness destinations such as Chiva Som in Thailand. Tal’s multidisciplinary health science education and practical experience means he knows how to apply wellness to daily living.
Tal completed his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and health science at York University in Toronto. He went on to complete a four-year post-graduate degree at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. Upon graduation, he practiced in Toronto and published research papers in the Journal of Restorative Medicine in 2015 and 2016.
