Immerse yourself in the Yucatán’s deeply rooted colonial heritage. Learn how to harvest your own picnic using biodynamic agriculture principles. Cool off in a private cenote before sitting down to lunch at the historical hacienda, complete with seasonal beverages made with fruits and herbs from the estate. This incredible experience concludes with a local cheese and honey tasting.

Uncover the secrets behind one of Mexico’s most iconic dishes—El Taco. During this hands-on workshop, you will prepare three tacos and salsas alongside our talented chefs using fresh ingredients you have procured from our organic garden. As you enjoy local beer, mezcal or Mexican wine, a range of cooking techniques will be demonstrated, including how to make tortillas from scratch.

La Ceiba Garden & Kitchen pays homage to authentic Mayan cuisine and heritage with its name, derived from one of the Mayan culture’s most important symbols, the great Ceiba tree.
Each La Ceiba Dinner is unique, offering an intimate dining experience for guests to interact with one another and an innovative menu of both classic and modern Mexican dishes that are enhanced with the freshest of ingredients cultivated directly from the garden.
La Ceiba Dinners are hosted on Wednesdays and Saturdays starting at 7:00 p.m. Seats are limited and reservations are required.

The resort is certified by the Monterey Bay Aquarium as a Seafood Watch partner for its responsible purchasing and consumption of produce. Chef Loza is also an ambassador for Come Pesca, which promotes the responsible consumption of Mexican seafood.
